June was extremely intense, I had no time to blog. Which is a shame, as there was lots to blog about with the completion of the first semester of GAMEDEC: Game Studies & Design. We have just got a relatively big grant (0.8 mln PLN) for extended job practice for our students, so I still have no time to blog - the grant needs to be taken care of.
Just a few chaotic lines about the cumulation of July events.
The first public presentation of four games created by our gamedecs in the Board & Card Game Design lab took place just this night. Watch some pics on Facebook.
(I know. Doesn't sound good in translation.) The first edition of this event created entirely by our students: a night with tabletop and live action role playing at the UKW Main Library. Kudos for the organisers!
A package of three game design labs - board/card, rpg/larp, and Scratch - as a 3-week commercial (fee-funded) summer school for high school / college students. Scheduled to start next week, but rescheduled for October at the request of prospective learners. It turned out many more people would like to take the courses in the evenings during the school year.
5th Bydgoszcz edition of Pog(R)adajmy!
The Pog(R)adajmy! monthly club event doesn't take a break for the summer. Meet us on Wednesday 9th of July!
